Allow due date in folllow up activity

Currently follow up activities don't show up on the learners to do list and I am told it is because they don't have a due date.  I don't feel it is very intuitive to a learner to look for a follow up activity in the assignments screen.  This could be problematic if it is a required compliance course. 

It would be great if an administrator could somehow tell the system to assign a due date based on a specific date or some various options (one week, two weeks one month, etc, based on the completion of the prior assignment).
