Messaging for Follow-Up activities

As an admin I'd like to be able to send a separate message (separate from my usual "content has been assigned" message) when a follow-up activity is assigned. For example, we have a piece of custom content on Goal Writing and, as a follow up activity, I have requested the system assign a SMART Goal training from the BLC. The email that goes out is the standard assignment email and it doesn't quite meet all my needs. I'd like to remove the due date field and add some verbage about how the assignment is part of a follow-up activity to help with retention but is not required. Something like that. I'm not sure if this is fixed by adding a "follow up activity assigned" option on the scheduled messages form OR allowing the "Content assigned" form to drill down past content groups all the way to a piece of individual content.
