It would be great when we hire someone new to slowly and incrementally assign classes. For instance, if I were a retail store hiring a cashier, I would not want to bombard them with every class any cashier has ever taken (and have them all overdue the minute they are put into the system) but I would want them to have a few classes each week.
In my company, I am trying to train new Front Line Managers how to be a good supervisor. The minute I put them into this learning group, they are having too many overdue classes assigned to them. I want them to slowly catch up to the other folks who are already working the roadmap.
