Scheduled Messages for Assignments made by manager or administrator

I want to schedule messages that pertain only to assignments made by the supervisor.  Currently, "assignments" applies to all assignments in the system, including self-selected so the automated messages are confusing to the point that I had to stop using them.  However, now the employees don't receive an email notification that their manager has assigned them content - which allows them to easily be missed.  Please add a message for assignments made by managers.

    Thank you for pointing out this issue. It is annoying to receive notifications for self-directed learning since those aren't required, so we do plan to update our scheduled messaging logic to address this.
